Funding
CellCAN is a not-for-profit corporation (under Part II of the Canada Corporations Act) funded by the federal government, augmented by donations and in-kind contributions from charities and revenues generated by the provision of services.
It is mainly funded by the Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) of Canada, by the Fondation de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (thanks to a donation from Mr. Ronald and Herbert Black) and from cash and in-kind contributions from several health and educational organizations across Canada.
