Job Title: Program Specialist

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada

ISCT is a global organization of clinicians, scientists, regulators, technologists and industry partners driving the clinical translation of scientific research to deliver innovative cell and gene therapies to patients. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, the ISCT global head office facilitates the interactions between academia, regulators, and the biotech/pharma sector to enable the translation of research into therapies.

The Program Specialist reports to the Director of Global Operations and Regulatory, and is responsible for operational support of the organization’s global regulatory committees and programs. This role coordinates the activities of these committees to deliver ongoing education to stakeholders and supports ongoing dialogue and initiatives with international regulatory agencies (FDA, Health Canada, EMA, TGA, PMDA, etc.). The Program Specialist will facilitate dialogue between experts in the field and is required to operate with the formalities required when working and communicating with regulatory bodies.


• Support the annual FDA Cell Therapy Liaison Meeting with 15+ professional stakeholder organizations
• Interact with global regulatory agencies and other relevant stakeholder organizations on strategic initiatives as required
• Coordinate the execution of regulatory deliverables including whitepapers, responses to regulatory consultations, webinars, and educational sessions
• Coordinate the planning and execution of regulatory workshops and programs at the ISCT Annual Conference
• Support committees in a global setting, across numerous time zones
• Other job-specific responsibilities as required

Basic Qualifications:
• Highly organized and attention to detail and quality is required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Thrive in multi-tasking, team-oriented and deadline-driven environments
• A second language will be considered an asset

Key/Unique Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree required. A Master’s degree would be considered an asset
• Global cultural awareness/sensitivity and flexibility to adapt to working across global time zones
• Superior writing and editing skills
• Some travel internationally required; ability to travel without restrictions is a requirement

This position will be located at ISCT Head Office in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. Candidates must be able to legally work full time in Canada (Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, work permit, etc.).
